Whitney and Brad, Little Cove Ceremony and Sugar Wharf Reception.

It was a perfect winters day for Whitney and Brad’s wedding in Port Douglas. A sunny afternoon at Little Cove for the ceremony and a mountain view backdrop at the Sugar Wharf for the reception kept the guests entertained and amazed by the beauty of this stunning location. However, It wasn’t all smooth sailing thanks to a certain pandemic… to be honest, which wedding in 2022 hasn’t had a few Covid curveballs? I was contacted by Whitney a month before her wedding date in desperate need of a photographer. Unfortunately, their original photographer based in South Australia couldn’t make it North due to restrictions.

I jumped on board and it quickly became a wedding in Port D I won’t forget! The dress, flowers, styling and stunning bridal party all complimented each other to reflect what an iconic wedding in Port D looks like. Whitney’s one wish was to have a little sneak peek of the reception on the Sugar Wharf before her guests arrived. It was a fantastic idea! Not only did they check out the amazing styling by Eventcore, but it also gave them the chance to roam around, have a tequila shot and take some intimate photos around the venue.
