Jack & Zoe, Bowen Wedding.

Next time you’re thinking of bypassing Bowen on your way North or South on the Bruce Highway, stop and check out Horseshoe Bay - I did, and it’s now one of my fav places to visit. The first time I did visit Bowen was for Jack and Zoe’s wedding. These high school sweethearts acted as my local tour guides during my stay. Before their first date at a local Bowen pub, Jack slid into Zoe’s DMs… Seven years later and Jack proposed on the local beach.

Their ceremony was held at the local Anglican Church and the reception was at a private property. Zoe wore a stunning dress by Love Honor Bridal. This dress made a statement in this small country town with bold sculptural sleeves. Zoe was the queen of the town on her wedding day and all eyes were on her. Townsville florist St Floral created the perfect explosion of colour with her bouquets that worked perfectly with the white dress of the bridesmaids and the rugged landscapes of Bowen.

The entire day was filled with good tunes, fun bridal party vibes and a loved-up couple. I’m super thankful and grateful to these two and other couples that continue to invite me to their destination weddings around Australia.
